Hal Goodwin, author of the Rick Brant boys adventure series from the 1940s - 1960s also wrote for the pulp fiction magazines in the 1940s when he was a war correspondent in the South Pacific. He wrote under several pseudonyms, one of them being Shelby Grant. Here is a story of his that was included in the February 1945 ALL-STORY LOVE pulp magazine about a soldier who is returning home from the war in the Pacific to something even worse - girl problems!
